Campbell soup recalls 3 varieties of spaghettiOs pasta


Campbell Soup Company recalled 15 milllion pounds of SpaghettiOs with meatballs.  Certain lots of the soup were recalled manufactured since December 2008.  Company told that in one of the company’s plants in Texas, a cooker malfunctioned left the meat undercooked.  Although officials believe that the incident happened recently, but exact date of malfunctioned was not determined and hence recall included product made in December 2008.

Which varieties of pasta were recalled?
Campbell recalled three varieties of the pasta product often consumed by children: SpaghettiOs with Meatballs, SpaghettiOs A to Z with Meatballs, and SpaghettiOs Fun Shapes with Meatballs (Cars).

How do I know which lots are recalled?

Are there illness reported due to SpaghettiOs?
So far there are no reports of illness associated with SpaghettiOs as per USDA and the company has not received any customer complaints to date.
