I remember, my brother constantly fighting pimples, which appeared on his nose more than on other areas of the face. As many of you may believe that acne is caused by lack of cleanliness of skin. But, as I explained in details in my previous post that hormonal changes lead to formation of acne. I would like to share with you the natural ways of deals with acne problem. Scratching or digging out pimple is not at all recommended as it will lead to acne scarring. First of all, you will transfer dirt and bacteria from your hand or nails to the pimples. Skin tissues are damaged by digging and the bacteria, which will hinder in pimple healing process and may result in pitted skin. The scars product as a result of scratching can look like dark colored stains and can be permanent on your skin.
Drink water: Water will keep your skin hydrated, which is essential if you are suffering from acne. Dry skin, generally increases irritation and can aggravate the pimples. Rule of thumb is that you should drink 8 glasses of water per day.
Tea tree oil: Tea tree oil is regarded as effective natural herb to deal with acne. Dilute the tea tree oil and apply it on the affected area of skin. This oil serves dual purpose, its anti-bacterial ingredients kill acne causing bacteria and secondly aids in unclogging your blocked pores.
Lemon Juice: More I think of lemon juice, more I feel it is elixir! Apply lemon juice on pimples to lighten redness and inflammation left by pimples. Top layer of skin is burned away, which unclogs pores and sheds skin dead cells by the natural chemicals in lemon juice. Also, drinking lemon juice can help to fulfill your body requirements of essential vitamins, which can maintain health of your skin. A few glasses a day can aid in preventing acne.

For some people, especially women, it is easy enough to cover the pimples by a layer of makeup. I am not advocating against it, but I would caution it as a long term solution as cosmetics will clog the skin pore and some cosmetics can increases chances of producing more acne. None-the-less it is important that you keep you skin clean. You can use the regular soap, apricot scrubs or the products that contain salicylic such as Clean and clear, oil free acne from Neutrogena, etc. I have found benefit from a soap called PanOxyl, which has benzoyl peroxide as its main ingredient. The biggest advantage of natural therapies is that they come with minimal cost. I believe that natural therapies mentioned in the article will help your acne problem and will aide in getting rid of pimples. You might want to go for a combination of these therapies than just one of them.
