Does sunlight also helps in preventing osteoporosis?

Low level of Vitamin D leads to Oteoporosis. Vitamin D is made naturally under the surface of our skin when our skin is in direct sunlight . We need 10-15 minutes of sunlight , two to three times a week to get enough vitamin D. Though, amount of time depends on how sensitive our skin is to light, and skin color. Study published in “American Academy of Neurology” demonstrated that sunlight exposure can increase the BMD (Bone Mineral Density) of vitamin D-deficient bone thereby improves Osteoporosis.
