Steve Jobs medical leave of absence approved


Steve Jobs, Chief Executive of Apple Inc. is a well known name around the globe.  He brought Apple to life after he began his second round of leadership in 1997 by introducing innovative products like iPod, iPhone and iPad.  His ability to perceive and deliver the needs of consumer has made Apple’s worth more than Microsoft.  Steve Jobs told his employee through email that he will be taking a medical leave of absence, but will remain CEO and stay involved in the company’s major strategic decisions. 

Steve Jobs went for medical leave from late 2008 to mid 2009 and was treated for pancreatic cancer.  Apple’s Chief Operating Officer, Tim Cook will take care of the day-to-day operations.  

Details about medical condition of Steve Jobs are not known yet, but Jobs noted in the email “I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can.”  Know about...

    I heard today that Steve Jobs is taking his third medical leave of absence!! So he can focus on his health. Is this the end of the Apple empire? The stock exchange of Frankfurt responded with a share value which was 7% lower! I am curious Apple share’s will do tomorrow at the NYE
